Nearly 100 people braved the cold and wind Nov. 13 at 9 am
to attend our second annual Rockwall Race To End Abuse 5K/1K Walk on Arista Dr. behind Kroger. The event raised over $1,200 for educational campaigns to prevent/end domestic, dating, child and pet abuse across Rockwall County. It's the first event of its kind, which we plan to expand statewide and nationwide.
It was co-sponsored by Walmart, Heritage Christian Academy, local political leaders, news media, retailers and several fitness facilities.

Change the Law, Texas!
Dallas mom Crystal Buckner and the Lillian Smith Foundation are spearheading a campaign with board member & State Senator Bob Deuell to change Texas
law so it will be illegal for parents, spouses or guardians
to show porn to their children, which experts say is a
gateway for child porn, prostitution and trafficking.
